Scuba Diver

Scuba Diver is the NAUI entry level scuba certification course. It provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.

Advanced Scuba Diver

The NAUI ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER course is a continuing education certification course for certified divers. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities and to be taught entirely in an open water setting. You will be able to do more, to dive in areas other than those associated with entry-level training, and you will have fun as you are becoming a better diver.

Master Scuba Diver

The NAUI MASTER SCUBA DIVER course is a continuing education certification course for divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of diving. Emphasis is on student participation and practical application of knowledge in open water after a classroom discussion of subjects. This course is an excellent progression toward NAUI leadership roles.

Scuba Rescue Diver

The NAUI SCUBA RESCUE DIVER course trains divers in the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies. Included are: assists, transport, surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers. The course meets the prerequisite rescue training for Skin Diving Instructor, NAUI Assistant Instructor, Divemaster and Instructor certification.

First Aid & CPR

The NAUI First Aid course trains divers and non-divers alike to assist with emergencies, whether they occur on a diving trip or at home. Knowledge of first aid and appropriate action can save a life. This course teaches the proper responses to aid a person in distress until in the care of a professional medical personnel. It is mandatory for all rescue divers to be First Aid trained, and this course is included within the SCUBA Rescue Diver course.

Pool Refresher

The Pool Refresher course is intended for certified divers of all levels who have not been diving for a while, or for newly certified divers who desire to be more confident in the water. The course reviews important skills and concepts covered in basic scuba courses and is perfect for divers who want to be better prepared for any dive trip and enjoy it to the fullest.

Divemaster

The NAUI DIVE MASTER rating is the first level NAUI leadership certification. This course is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct safe and enjoyable open water dives for certified divers. A NAUI divemaster is also qualified to organize and conduct NAUI Recognition and Experience Programs and award appropriate recognition materials to participants; as well as assist a NAUI instructor in diving courses.

Instructor

The NAUI INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE (ITC) is designed to train and qualify NAUI Instructor members. During the course, future instructors learn effective methods to teach skin and scuba diving in compliance with NAUI Diving Course Standards.
