Pulau Redang

Pulau Redang is the largest group of islands dotting the South China Sea off the coast of Kuala Terengganu. Pulau Redang is accessible by a short boat transfer from Kuala Terengganu. The island has pristine beaches and clear waters. This popular tourist destination is the ideal place for snorkeling, scuba diving, jungle trekking, boating and canoeing. Pulau Redang is a marine park and therefore fishing is not permitted within a 3.2kim radius of the island. The island’s diving areas are deemed a coral paradise. Pulau Redang sites have well preserved coral variety which attract and house every reef fish imaginable. The dive highlights around Pulau Redang are two historic shipwrecks sunk at the beginning of World War II. Adventuring The H.M.S. Prince of Wales and H.M.S. Repulse are definitely not for the faint-hearted.
